Thunderbirds Charities announces its support of the Playworks’ TeamUp and Pro training programs. Thunderbirds Charities generous funding will directly support Arizona’s kids by providing highly trained staff, play equipment, materials, and evaluation resources to Title 1 schools. This grant will support Playworks Arizona’s growing TeamUp and Pro Service programs as well as digital services for the ongoing 2023-24 school year.
Playworks programming leads to positive, measurable outcomes including improved school climates, increased physical activity, stronger empathy and cooperation among students, and a healthier overall well-being and quality of life for students in need.
“Thunderbird Charities is a leader of philanthropic giving in the Arizona community and Playworks is fortunate to receive a $44,000 grant from Thunderbirds Charities and join together to positively impact the lives of children in the state of Arizona, ” says Kerryann Tomlinson, Vice President, Field Operations of Playworks Arizona.
