Thunderbirds Junior Golf Association of Arizona (JGAA)

Thunderbirds Grants $200,000 to the Junior Golf Association of Arizona

The Junior Golf Association of Arizona (JGAA) has a mission to educate, motivate and inspire Arizona’s youth through golf and all of the valuable lessons and life skills inherent in the game. In addition to hosting competitive events, the JGAA develops programs for local schools, assists golf courses with their junior programs, and conducts college prep seminars and etiquette clinics. The JGAA’s strong belief in teamwork and cooperation has guided the organization for more than 30 years and is instilled in all of its members.

The Thunderbirds awarded the JCAA $200,00 that will be used for several purposes, including the JGAA’s Financial Aid program to assist its members with participation fees – no juniors are turned away due to lack of resources.

“We want to thank The Thunderbirds for their generous and unwavering support of the JGAA and the junior golfers it serves,” said Scott McNevin, Executive Director of the JGAA. “No matter where the game takes them, our juniors leave equipped to become tomorrow’s leaders both on and off the golf course.”
