The mission of Dress for Success Phoenix is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Our team understands the importance of listening to the women we serve and learning first-hand the challenges they face. Whether they are job seekers, under-employed workers or professionals ready to take that next step, we design and deliver services, programs and a network of support to help women overcome these challenges for every phase of their personal or professional journey.
At the Career Center, our clients gain access to the resources, support and education they need to excel in their career. Clients are paired with staff members to create resumes and cover letters, conduct mock interviews and take advantage of our professional skills training course. For many, we know that transportation can be a massive hurdle for women hoping to access Dress for Success programs, so we made our services mobile. The Mobile Career Center provides many of the same great services as the Dress for Success Phoenix boutique, such as providing attire and career coaching. The Mobile Career Center also enhances partnerships with referral agencies.
This generous grant from Thunderbirds Charities will allow us to reach even more women in the Valley by expanding our reach and resources where they are needed most.
