The Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation will use these funds to improve the lives of youth in foster care through educational support and financial awards for social, athletic and educational opportunities to help give them the childhood they deserve.

“We are so grateful to have been awarded this generous grant from the Thunderbird Charities,” says Kris Jacober, executive director of the Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation. “It has always been our mission to support youth in foster care and help them have as normal a childhood as possible despite the very difficult circumstances of foster care — and these funds will help us continue to serve that mission.”
