Many of the most vulnerable individuals in the Valley lack access to locations that provide resources and services critical to their overall health and wellbeing. When someone has no other way to get to housing, healthcare, food, employment or other necessary errands, Elaine‘s Transportation Assistance Program (TAP) is there to help. In addition to providing friendly, compassionate and dependable rides, Elaine’s Community Health Drivers will assist clients in carrying groceries or personal belongings, ensuring clients are checking into appointments on time, helping organize important documentation and more. And none of what we do is possible without the support we receive from the community. Thanks to a recent investment from Thunderbirds Charities, Elaine will be able to provide 1,000 additional rides to those who need them most.

Their latest support has been critical in allowing Elaine to provide ongoing services, and has also given us the ability to expand our programming as well. We are now more uniquely positioned to meet the community where some of the greatest needs are, whether that be for shelters, housing programs, healthcare entities or other non profits around the Valley.
