Thunderbirds Charities Awards Gen Justice $5,000 to Help Abused Children

Thunderbirds Charities has awarded a $5,000 grant to help children served in the Gen Justice Children’s Law Clinic. All funds will be used to provide emergency legal services to abandoned and abused children.

“We are so appreciative of Thunderbirds Charities for helping more children in our community have the opportunity to grow up in loving homes,” said Darcy Olsen, CEO of Gen Justice.

The Gen Justice Children’s Law Clinic provides abandoned and abused children with pro bono representation, helping siblings stay together and facilitating safe families for children. This summer, the Clinic is expanding its services to provide older youth in care with pro bono counsel, including helping them with their dependency cases, education needs, and family.

If you would like to serve pro bono in the Children’s Law Clinic, please contact Kileen Lindgren at kileen@genjustice.org.

Gen Justice will celebrate five years of service to the community in 2023.
