PHOENIX (July 2022) – Thunderbirds Charities has awarded a $5,000 grant to Swift Youth Foundation to fund its Youth
Enrichment program for children from low-income families.
Swift’s Youth Enrichment program offers a fun and enriching after-school/out-of-school curriculum for children from underresourced backgrounds. The program promotes academic achievement, independence, healthy social interactions, team spirit
and camaraderie, opportunities for leadership, self-respect, and respect for others.
“We have tremendous gratitude for the Thunderbirds Charities’ investment in the children served by our after-school and outof-school programs. We work with youth ages 8-12 from Phoenix Title I schools and youth who are experiencing homelessness.
The support we receive from Thunderbirds Charities will help us continue to provide this critical service,” said Kristi Henry,
Executive Director of Programs and Development.
