Rosie’s House Receives $10,000 Grant from Thunderbirds Charities to Empower Under-Resourced Youth Through Music

Phoenix, AZ —Rosie’s House is thrilled to announce it has been awarded a generous $10,000 grant from Thunderbirds Charities. This funding will support the Free Afterschool Music and Leadership Program, providing under-resourced youth in the Phoenix metro area with access to life-changing music education and leadership development opportunities.

With this grant, Rosie’s House will enroll more than 650 students during the 2024-2025 program year, a remarkable 50% increase from just five years ago. The funding from Thunderbirds Charities will help cover the costs of:

  • Musical instruments for students.
  • Instructional books and sheet music.
  • Classroom instructional time and program planning.
  • Cleaning and maintenance kits for instruments.
