Gift of Adoption, a national charitable organization providing financial assistance to complete adoptions, is receiving a $5,000 grant from Thunderbirds Charities to fund the Maricopa County Forever Families Program. The grant will allow Gift of Adoption’s Arizona Chapter to help unite two children with permanent families.
“We’re thrilled that Thunderbirds Charities is assisting our efforts to bring more vulnerable children into permanent, loving homes,” says Katie Zimmerman, President of Gift of Adoption Fund – Arizona Chapter. “The Maricopa County Forever Families program will have a direct and immediate impact on at-risk kids living in Maricopa and Pinal Counties.”
The funding from Thunderbirds Charities will allow the chapter to issue two adoption assistance grants for vulnerable children in Maricopa and Pinal Counties to be adopted by loving, caring families also residing in Maricopa and Pinal Counties. Nurturing families are integral to a child’s healthy development, contributing to success throughout life.
